Connecting Wrapped
Navigate to Settings > Integrations in your Pocket dashboard. Find Wrapped in the list and click Connect.
Enter your Wrapped API key and secret, which you can find in your Wrapped dashboard. Click Save to activate the integration.
How It Works
Wrapped gift cards can be converted to Pocket reward credit automatically. When a customer redeems a Wrapped gift card, the value is added to their Pocket balance in real time.
The flow works like this:
A customer receives or purchases a Wrapped digital gift card.
The customer redeems the gift card through your Wrapped-powered storefront.
Pocket automatically receives the redemption event and credits the corresponding member's balance.
Use Cases
Sell gift cards that load as membership credit — offer digital gift cards that customers can redeem as Pocket reward balance, creating a seamless gifting experience.
Offer digital gift cards as rewards — use Wrapped gift cards as incentives or prizes that automatically convert to Pocket balance.
Configuration Options
From the integration settings, you can configure:
Auto-credit behavior — choose whether redeemed gift card values are applied to member balances automatically or require manual approval.
Default tier assignment — optionally assign new members created via gift card redemption to a specific tier.
Notification preferences — send the member a notification when their balance is credited.
Tips
Make sure the email on the Wrapped gift card matches the member's email in Pocket for automatic matching.
If a gift card is redeemed by someone who isn't yet a Pocket member, a new member profile can be created automatically.
Monitor gift card redemptions from your Integrations page to verify credits are being applied correctly.
