The final onboarding step lets you test your membership program before sharing it with customers. You'll install a wallet pass on your own phone to verify everything looks right, then get your signup link to start enrolling members.
Step-by-Step Guide
On the Test & Launch step, click Send Test Pass. Pocket will send a test wallet pass to the email address associated with your account.
Open the email on your phone and tap the link to install the pass:
iPhone — the pass opens in Apple Wallet. Tap Add to install it.
Android — you'll be redirected to save the pass in Google Wallet. Tap Save.
Verify the pass displays correctly:
Check that your logo and company name appear correctly.
Confirm the background color matches your branding.
Verify the QR code is visible on the front of the pass.
Flip to the back of the pass to see additional details (member ID, balance, any links).
Once satisfied, return to the dashboard and click Complete Setup.
Sharing Your Signup Link
After completing onboarding, you'll receive your membership signup URL. This is the link you share with customers to join your program:
Signup URL —
https://your-slug.pocketpass.siteShare this link on your website, social media, in-store signage, or via email campaigns.
You can generate a QR code for this link to display in your physical store.
What Happens When a Customer Signs Up?
The customer visits your signup link and enters their name and email.
They receive an email with a link to download their wallet pass.
Once installed, they appear as a new member on your Members page.
You can now send them push notifications, track their spend, and manage their membership.
After Launch
The Get Started item in your sidebar will show your progress. Once all four steps are complete, the onboarding banner on your dashboard will dismiss. You can always return to review your setup by clicking Get Started if it's still visible, or by navigating to the relevant settings pages.
Tips
Test on both an iPhone and an Android device if possible, since the pass appearance differs between Apple Wallet and Google Wallet.
If you don't see the test email, check your spam folder.
You can customize your signup page further from Customize > Signup Page.
Consider setting up an automation to send a welcome push notification when new members install their pass — go to Engage > Automations to set this up.
