Navigate to Settings > Security at dashboard.getpocketpass.com/settings/security to review your account's audit log and maintain a complete record of all actions taken.
About the Audit Log
The audit log records every significant action taken in your Pocket account. It provides a detailed trail of who did what and when, giving you full visibility into account activity.
What Gets Logged
Each audit log entry captures four key pieces of information:
Who — The email address of the user who performed the action.
What — The type of action that was taken.
When — The exact timestamp of the action.
Details — Additional context such as old and new values for changes.
Action Types
The audit log tracks a wide range of actions across your account, including:
Member actions: member created, member updated, member deleted.
Tier actions: tier created, tier updated, tier deleted.
Automation actions: automation enabled, automation disabled.
Campaign actions: campaign sent.
Settings actions: settings changed.
User management: user invited, user removed.
Integration actions: integration connected, integration disconnected.
Filtering Audit Log Entries
Use the filters at the top of the audit log to narrow down entries:
Date range — View actions within a specific time period.
User — Filter by the team member who performed the action.
Action type — Show only specific categories of actions (e.g., only member changes or only settings updates).
Combining filters lets you quickly find the exact event you are looking for.
Entry Details
Each audit log entry shows the following information for compliance and accountability purposes:
User email — Who performed the action.
IP address — The IP address the action originated from.
User agent — The browser or client used to perform the action.
Timestamp — The exact date and time.
Change details — Old and new values where applicable.
Exporting Audit Logs
You can export your audit log data for external record-keeping or compliance requirements. Click the Export button to download a CSV file of the currently filtered log entries. This is useful for sharing with auditors or storing records outside of Pocket.
Why This Matters
Maintaining an audit trail is essential for:
Compliance — Meet regulatory requirements by demonstrating a clear record of data access and modifications.
Accountability — Know exactly which team member made each change, reducing confusion when multiple people manage the account.
Troubleshooting — When something unexpected happens (e.g., a member was deleted or a setting was changed), the audit log helps you trace back to the root cause and the responsible user.
Tips
Check the audit log regularly, especially after onboarding new team members, to verify they are using the dashboard correctly.
Use date range filters to review activity around specific incidents or time periods.
Export logs periodically for long-term record-keeping — this is especially important for businesses with compliance obligations.
If you see unfamiliar actions or IP addresses, review your Account Users and consider removing any unauthorized users immediately.
