Beyond sending campaigns immediately, you can schedule them for a specific date and time and then review detailed delivery analytics afterward. This guide covers scheduling, status tracking, and campaign performance metrics.
Note: Campaign scheduling and analytics are PRO/Engage plan features.
Send Immediately vs. Schedule for Later
When your campaign is ready, you have two delivery options:
Send Now — delivers the campaign immediately to your targeted audience
Schedule for Later — sets the campaign to send at a future date and time
Choose scheduling when you want to time your message for maximum impact, such as sending a promotion at the start of a weekend or a reminder before an event.
Scheduling with Date/Time Picker
When you select Schedule for Later, a date and time picker appears. You can:
Select the date from a calendar picker
Set the exact time for delivery
Choose the timezone to ensure the campaign sends at the right local time
Once scheduled, the campaign moves to Scheduled status and will automatically send at the specified time.
Campaign Status Badges
The campaign list at dashboard.getpocketpass.com/engage/push-notifications displays a status badge for each campaign:
Draft — the campaign has been created but not yet sent or scheduled
Scheduled — the campaign is set to send at a future date and time
Sending — the campaign is currently being delivered to members
Sent — delivery is complete
Cancelled — the campaign was cancelled before it could be sent
These status badges update in real time so you always know where each campaign stands.
Viewing Campaign Details
After a campaign has been sent, click on it from the campaign list to view its details page. You can access any campaign directly at:
The details page shows the original message content, the audience targeting criteria that were used, and comprehensive delivery statistics.
Delivery Statistics
The campaign details page provides the following delivery metrics:
Sent count — the total number of push notifications dispatched
Delivered — the number of notifications successfully delivered to devices
Failed — the number of notifications that could not be delivered (e.g., expired device tokens or uninstalled passes)
Use these metrics to understand your campaign reach and identify any delivery issues. A high failure rate may indicate that some members have removed their wallet passes.
Cancelling a Scheduled Campaign
If you need to stop a scheduled campaign before it sends, you can cancel it from the campaign details page or the campaign list. Click Cancel Campaign on any campaign with a Scheduled status. Once cancelled, the campaign moves to Cancelled status and will not be sent.
Note: You cannot cancel a campaign that is already in Sending or Sent status.
Tips
Schedule campaigns during times when your members are most likely to check their phones — mid-morning and early evening often work well
Use timezone-aware scheduling if your members span multiple regions
Review delivery statistics after each campaign to refine your approach
If you see a high failure rate, encourage members to re-install their wallet pass
Monitor your campaign history at your Push Notifications dashboard to track trends over time
